Can anyone recommend any mechanics who are sued to dealing with GTA's in Essex?

I think your nearest option would be Jon Law at JL Engineering in Wapping.
Renault Ilford (if it still exists) was a complete waste of space for anything that isn't 'mainstream' and even then they had a poor reputation.

Just want the car serviced and MOT'd before I put it up for sale, but would prefer it done by someone who knows what they're looking at rather than some dodgy grease monkey!!

Would suggest seeing how their work is before suing them!
