Firing order & rotation

Postby paulrob100 » Fri Dec 18, 2015 1:55 pm

My GTA is still misfiring slightly. I just want to eliminate another possibility.

The firing order is:1-6-3-5-2-4 ?

The Cylinders are numbered 1-2-3 on the left bank, no1 at the rear & 4-5-6 on the right bank, no4 at the rear ?

The rotor arm rotates clockwise ?

I think its all in order but I would like to have it confirmed.

Thanks, Paul

Correct on the order on the Z7U.

See 'ere for diagram from dizzy. Check there's not moisture around the boots, or even water in the plug holes. Who had that recently?

Thanks for the replys. The diagram is very interesting. It shows the cylinder numbering to be opposite what i had been told, No 1 at the front of the right bank & No 4 at the frontof the left bank
