Any further news on the identity crisis on the two cars?

No crisis on this one .It's stamped on the turret,has team plates and also has the correct embossed rear spoiler ...the other ain't got none of these

Bulkhead getting back to OE spec ...would have been a lot sooner if the staff didn't keep getting distracted ...

well I do not have customers chasing me so I do not mind some distractions whilst I work on the car.

There are another couple of new reasons to visit RATS..........But next open day should be a weekday.
And there is a calender opportunity just begging...........just begging.

No problems on the way back Lee, ran fine and did what it should do, in other words chewed off everything on the A38 & A5

Thanks Terry .Bloody cars always play silly buggers at the most awkward times ....I hope you and the guys weren't too bored whilst we fecked about and you are happy with the performance .I will be looking into new top end engine looms and connectors .We had to hard wire JIL's loom as it wouldn't give spark and all down to the old multiplugs .....

The Europa cup car is certainly putting up a fight, bearing in mind how much money fell of Gta's after five years or so, the methodology of converting ( badly ) a LHD cup car to a RHD road car is beyond me!
Just when I think we've broke it's back, I find another hole bodged in!

Rest assured though, as all will be as it ought to be, and it shouldn't be too far off rolling out of RATS HQ with a steering wheel on the correct side.

Rear turret stripped of the bacofoil someone had stuck on over the paint from granddads shed, that was over the nearly dry square foot of matting that was over the cracks, that just need grinding out and repairing..........note the turret reinforcing plates.



But shiny things are coming together...........complete with 80's pop band........." System addict........"
Ignore the loony in the background........he wanders around pretending to be the owner........bless......I woundn't stand under that one for long...
