Alpine Rescue

Postby BIG_MVS » Fri Oct 30, 2009 8:10 pm

Anyone found/got pics of Alpines gone too far or need to be rescued?

I'll kick off with a sad looking A310 lying in someones back garden wedged behind a container  Looks like the wider bodied one as well!
(found on another forum BTW)

That car is going nowhere.

It has a steering wheel lock bar on it

A sad sight - The A310 does remind me of a De Tomaso Pantera

The car is somewhere in middlesex that is all I know. I could do some more digging or point you to the original forum it came from if you like?

Morning folk,

Did this ever turn up, or has it gone to the continent? Pretty sure it did get sold back 2010... just curious... :-)

The answer is Yes!

I'm in contact or was with the chap that kind of Gazumped you Martin. I seem to remember there was a right palaver on ownership and getting it out of it's place of rest. I seem to recall it sold for around £4k on ebay?

Anyway he's in the Nottingham area I think and owns a garage (not Clee). He's putting a turbo engine in it or turboing the original and his name is also Martin to create even more confusion....Of course knowing my memory issues its probably in Glasgow and his name is Fred. Either way it's still in the UK :up

This 610 has sat for 20years according to a neighbor. I would love to save it but the owner has moved away, so far notes through the door have failed!

what happened to the A610 dumped in Northern Ireland with a broken screen...anyone know?
That Yellow A610 is a real shame...always love that colour too.
With Turbo Dog's passing, does anyone have access to the GTA/A610 registrar's lists...do we know how many RHD cars there were and which ones are gone (MVS can provide that list), which ones are on the road/Stored in good condition and which ones are unknown? Turbodog/Andrew used to have the list for CAR if I remember correctly.
Here is mine...

The yellow one is a bit of a turn up...
The Northern Ireland car has been broken. I have a few parts of it in my car and in the shed.
