ABS rings as speed sensor

I am wishing to feed my Adaprtonic ECU with wheel speed so as I can use the launch control and optimum boost for 1st and second gears too.
Whats involved in getting a trigger wheel onto a non-ABS drive shaft?
any one got any pictures, and of the sensor mounting too?

Does any one have a picture of the ABS sensor and how it is mounted on the rear of GTA?
Also, what about the front, what is the ABS set up there? as I might also need a non-driven wheel speed sensor too.

On the GTA the sensor are mounted in separate Ali brackets screwed to the hubs .

Don't know if this photo will be of any help to you, Simon. It's the only one that I can find of the rear setup on my car, taken as I was stripping everything down. That section isn't back together yet but, if you need any other photos, I can dig the parts out and take some for you. As Lee has said, the sensor fits through an alloy bracket, which then fixes to the hub with 2 bolts, on the opposite end to the caliper. The front of the car has a similar arrangement. I can try to take a photo of that if you want, as those particular parts are still on the car at the moment.

A front picture would be good, seeing as there is no drive shaft to utilise. TIA.

Trouble is going to be making a boggo one fit.As you can see in the pic the hub will foul on a simple ring .The GTA one is a big old lump and 'skirt' shaped to come back and out from the hub and fit to the solid part of the driveshaft .
Best bet would be a std GTA one really ...you've just got to get them ....at the right price ....

Front is on the stub axle and more of a direct fitment and position but still requires brackets making etc .

If you get stuck then I'm sure I could get something knocked up.I should have all the std bits lying about somewhere but may need them to go to Aus with a container full of other shi...classic car parts
