Front is now virtually fully stripped save bits to keep it moveable ...The 'chassis' rails up front are shot along with a lot of the upright structure and the lhs wheelarch, footwell and door pillar ...Main issue is that the rails are a two piece assembly, top and bottom pressed steel forms welded together, so fab will be quite involved .I very much doubt any of this will still be available from Renault .
I have the Ratvan full of removed parts to drop off at the customers gaff as he has kindly agreed to get the shi...pre-loved bits out my way until I need to refurb them .

He had a full head of hair before we popped it up in the air and had a proper poke at all to come .....We are installing a dedicated long term project ramp as it's becoming more and more difficult to juggle and swap various dead ones about .
This should help us both in that the main ramps become free for general day to day duties and various projects .

You just have to watch the rear end weight, notice prop under subframe Not so much on an A610 as they are lardy feckers up front but on a GTA you'd be suprised just how little off the front is needed to make it tip ...This 610 though has not got a lot left up front ....
Add in the fact that we are trying to get to repair the bits that we usually lift on and it's a whole bunch of laffs and giggles ;)
4 posters are no good as they just restrict access ...

Mr D getting his shit together for trade parts supply :wtf
We've had our issues but life's too short etc so many thanks :vomit :D

Delivery today that will save me shed loads of time and grief in getting the front end rot on this sorted .
RHD specific front rails brand new from the RHD run some years ago .These are a botch to repair/copy and as the lower front wishbones hang off these it's a big problem if you get it wrong .

A victim of one of the dreaded 3 D's. We'll have to see.
It's in the Rotherham storage unit.
