I have a standard GTA engine, original manifolds, 440cc injectors, a 10 inch PWR chargecooler, a Borg Warner EFR 6258 tubo and Adaptronic e420c.
At 18psi, we saw over 300BHP on the rollers (thats engine BHP), and I am running it at 280bhp, 303ftIb of Torque for fast road, sprinting and hill climbing.
It is awesome in comparison to standard.

I think I've only run one std GTA at EFI .Bob from Norway's car.Usually work on about 25/30 bhp lost through the trans.
We've started using EFI more as Chris has loads of experience with turbos and ECU.He's a good two hours away from me but when we need the 'Modern' stuff tweaking that's worth the trip and he and Martin can talk Binary to each other ;)
The money shot is always nice but it's consistency that really matters...whether what you've done has made more or less ......

I think my 2.5 turbo engine when it had about 250 000Klms on it, only went about 145 Hp at the wheels at a dyno day in standard form. It now has 285000Klm and is quite tired, thus the need to make a better one. I would be quite happy to make 250Hp+ at the wheels, but this looks like I might be aiming too low with a 2975cc unit with mods. In reality whatever it makes, it makes. Hopefully I will find the time later in the year to at least assemble the motor. All the parts are there, machined and clean, just need to do it. Thank you for your tips and ideas on the modification of these motors.

This thread depresses the hell out of me but .....

Had JIL on the scales and brake tester to dial in the bias to some degree so we don't go spinning out on the first corner ....
Good news is she's a svelte little thing coming in at 1020kg with full load, cage and a fat bloke in the seat so under a ton with 270 and 310'/lbs.

Very respectable Sir.
I think my car is 1080KG without driver when I put it on a weighbridge a couple of years ago, and no cage but full interior.

Off for paint next month ...that'll add a bit of weight :sarcasm

New box should overcome any issues .....When the big lump comes on stream we'll pop it in but for now it's staying as is.I have new RATS developed dampers for GTA and A610 due in next month so once they are on we're out and about on test.
First outing at Curborough so unlikely to get out of second for very long but big shakedown at Blyton tbc.
