Good to hear your stories but even though you are spending less on travel and hotels are you sure it's cheaper overall than CSCC?!!!

Shame you are not still doing ""New Millenium"

Good luck

Thanks Andy, cheaper? well, less entry fee and fuel but no valuable ££ input from a second driver but we knew that before so no surprises and car no longer looks like a showroom fresh racer due to it being sandblasted but no other damage luckily. Have to say did miss the longer race and pit stop as at least it gave me something to do in the pits, as it was, I might as well as let him get on with it and stood on paddock hill and enjoy the racing. I think for an enthusiastic team, the CSCC format is better as it involves the team more. For a driver, the shorter races are better and you cannot blame your team mate or pit crew when it goes wrong. Did keep an eye on CSCC on tsl timing today, good to see some new cars out (Honda NSX really?) and hope some more turn out during the season. Good to see Simon Hands getting the class win he deserved.
Who knows, we might even be back for a race later on.

We are out at Snetterton on Saturday, 8th April. Have tickets if anyone wants to come, will have to email them so let me know address. Have to admit this race is poorly supported- only us in class so far- shame really as its the only round outside Brands Hatch and they wont bother next year if no one supports it. Rest of the other races seem to be all Caterhams.

Quick report from, Snetterton, 2 class wins, albeit with no competition... not to say there was no racing going on despite huge power differential.

Pretty sure the Cosworth took us out but deemed a racing incident. No real damage surprisingly to car although a £250 slick tyre flat spotted down to the canvass.

Next up is Brands Hatch on Saturday 29th April...

Good work guys looked like a good race. What were the lap times like and are you doing well in the championship too?

2m14.584 on slicks in race 1
2m 20 something on 1b road tyres in race 2... slicks worth 6 secs a lap it would seem. Although he went faster last year in CSCC on the same treaded tyres so maybe he was following instructions and just bringing the car home for the points.....

Our first race of the year should be on motorsports TV (formerly known as Motors) channel 447. Tomorrow, Tuesday 9th May. 11.10 AM and repeated 4 times or so during the coming week.
I know you might not all have the channel but no need to tell us, A lot do have it and if you are into motorsport I suggest you get it or forever moan about the lack of motorsport on TV, OK?

Thanks for the heads up on the TV schedule Mark. Great coverage of the second race battle with the red Clio, but shame they missed the final pass for the class win! Looks like much closer racing across the classes than the Millennium. Best of luck to Riku for the rest of the series and hope to see more on TV soon
