there was an Ultima advertised on race cars direct a few weeks ago a full blown out racer and the guy only wanted £15000 for it..... a well cheap rocket dunno if it's still available?

Sounds like a handful of ancilliaries only Tony! I think a 600bhp GTA would be terrible at 0-100-0.......imagine how bad the brakes would seem with that mush power!!!! The Ultima is a lot quicker than a Noble in a straight line, but it wont be much quicker round corners and the Noble would be well built (or so I'm led to believe!)

I'll never remember them all! Sump, oil pickup, engine mounts and block spacer plate, inlet manifold, waterpump, loads of plumbing, distributor (same but in opposite bank), turbo, exhaust manifolds, plenum chamber, rocker covers I'm sure theres loads of other stuff I've forgot!

Still a fair few differences to an A610 - waterpump is different, turbo is bigger, plenums,plumbing - its sort of a hybrid of 3 engines really.

Yep that was what I meant. Are there no detail internal differences i.e. the valvegear, pistons etc between the two? I thought I'd read in a magazine that Hartge had fitted Cosworth pistons to the bi-turbo engine. No idea where the magazine is now - I think it was an old issue of Perfomance Car.
