Well commensurate with the bidding and value of this I have advertised my A610:

Can't believe it Martin selling the 610 are you the big hitter in the bidding, going all out for the Lemans I will build you one if you want, but you will have to wait a year at least you could drive it and have fun not worry about it. Remember if you own an original as soon as you modifie it the value will go down, collectors only pay big bucks for originality.

Mind you as it has been said a cossie and even a bloody Peugeot 205 gti are fetching £30 k at auction! Make the 610 look a bargain these days.

When you consider you could buy a very exceptional condition GTA Turbo for £13k, Once that car is restored, it's going to owe someone £35k unless you can do everything yourself. £20k for a body kit and wheels!? Probably cost you £10k for the kit, fitting and paint - plenty of cars around that need a repaint anyway for 5-10k so you could probably build a rep for 2/3 of the cost. Think GTA/A610 prices are about to go through the roof, Steve Dell will be a millionaire :0)

Yeh, but he will need to pay £20k to get some of them up to scratch too.

We're all watching this with interest, but of course it's really only of interest to those who actually own one of these. Because of its rarity (1 of 325) I don't see that there is a direct connection between D502 values and those of A610 or D500/D510 and certainly not a replica.
There's no doubt it needs in the region of £25K spent to restore it but the LHD cars are advertised at £50K plus on the continent now.
That's what I based my 'number out of the air' original auction estimate upon.

For the Alpine collector who must have a Le Mans in the vault it is a no brainer. Where else are you going to find one?

Or just save yourself the pain and uncertainty of restoration and buy this:

The price just dropped from £13,200 to £11,900

Perhaps someone viewed and withdrew their bid?

Looks like it'll need a few squirts of plus gas to get it apart.............where did I see an engine bay that corroded before?....Hmmm.....When they found the Titanic...........
Might end up not that bad, whether it's frilly and holed or completely shot, you've still got to repair/replace it. Punt the spare wheels off to a replica.....sorry re-creation....got to be 500+ for those, genuine with centre caps 1K ?
Le Mans is the prettiest of the modern Alps, and by far the best proportion wise.
Hope it stays in the UK, not far from me and did consider a goosey at it, but too rich for me, whether it's worth it or not.
Good luck with it if you end up getting it, a lot of the cars coming out of hiding aren't in bad shape compared to some that have been used and sold on and used and sold on............

Quick quiz.

Just noticed something which might in fact make this car worth even more. 1 x Virtual Internet Pint to the person who spots it.

And will it make the £35k A610 worth more too?
