Wheel Swap....

I have an 1992 A610 with the later Spider wheels on it ...its a yellow ex press car and I'd really like to get it into the same condition as when it was road tested.
Aside of it needing some attention due to age, it had the early Turbine wheels when it was road tested...and I'd love to find a set of those wheels to put back on it.
The current wheels are straight but need refurbishing...and I also have a pair of new fronts, and I was wondering if anyone out there would be interested in a swap?

5 or so years ago 'banana' wheels were hot property but now it's the early wheels that are in. Got a guy from Manchester called Mo who has just had two (one front one rear) early 610 wheels stolen from the garage it was being stored in. So if you could get hold of a spare front and rear I reckon he would swap. Apart from that I reckon Dell boy is your only UK hope or the French forums.

I may be changing to Team Dynamics on Ratty later in the year but would be for sale rather than swap.

Happy to swop 4 x turbines with centres for 4 x s/h + 2 x new bananas.

Mo’s already been on the phone for the turbines but i’d prefer them to stay on an alpine rather than a VW and Mr Smith is also keen so don’t hang around if you want them. As MVS says turbines are the hot property at the moment and they were much more expensive new. 2-3 x more than bananas which is why I guess they stopped fitting them.

No Mo has got a 610 Steve. So he would want them for that. He would probably be interested in Mr Metter's old banana's if you went and did that deal so you would tick both boxes...

Yes my mistake. He’s just been on the phone asking for more parts so twigged he must have a damaged 610!
