Great news, looking forward to a nice big photo spread.

Thanks guys at last late delivery of the 15 week wait for the wheels, Put the Yokohama sticky rubber on the front but they don’t make fat rubber for the back so will have to look for another manufacturer which now the choice is limited for 10 x 17 but it is starting to look good.

Demon Tweeks do Yokohama Advan in 17" up to 255/40's, any good to you?

No 10” rims so 255/45/17 or 165/45/17 but hard to find 275/40/35/17 but that is fat and may affect the handling but would look good from the back.

255 40 17 was standard fitment for the Le Mans, I have them on my 10" Azev's too.

Just for information have 265/45/17's on the rear of my A610. This is on a 10" x 17" Gotti split rim wheel.

The ones I have are Falken Azenis FK453 and these have been just fine.

Me too, car seems to handle well enough, however the Azev wheel is a heavy one to say the least.

Well tyres are going on today they no longer have the 265/45/17 it has been replaced by 265/40/17 not much choice but not that bad on price £105 plus fitting which is good for a tyre that big I thought.

Shouldn't be 255/45s 17s, Had 275/35s a long time back and 255/40s - if you do the sums these are closest to original rolling diameter.

265/40/17 is a better size and price seems OK too.

"Price", this car is for driving, and an extra £20 or so for a tyre or two is hardly a worry when £10k+ (has Custard mentioned any cost to the lady of the manor) has been spent creating it.
Just get the best rubber.
Pilot Sport tyres seem popular on current high performance cars.

Mums the word on that one, I do love my Yokohama’s but my thought was that the width of the rear tyres I do not think it will brake away before the front, so I don’t want a mega sticky on the back trying to get the grip balanced. On my last goodwood adventure the front had more grip than the back as I had yoko on the front but only 225/55/15 on the back and I went for a spinning time.
