I don't know where some of you are getting your prices from as it appears that Simon Auto's has both the Atmo and Turbo coolant tanks for 41.65 euros ..... and in stock.
Because the D500 and the D501-2-3 have different part numbers, and as the only difference between them is the different pressure caps, then it looks as if these tanks come complete with their respective caps ..... just like they come from Renault.
I bought one from Renault some years back, and it cost just over £30 with the correct cap, so at this price I consider it good value. :)
The part No's are:-
D500 ............ 061045
D501-2-3 ..... 061047

Dave ..... I tried to get a new one from Renault just before Macon as mine was yellowing and I fancied a new white one. On inquiring at Renault, I found that the Reservoir is no longer available, BUT both the Brown and Blue pressure caps are still current ..... so I bought a new Brown one anyway .... just in case. ;)

Ok..so no more Renault...I think the prices were extortion for the last few based on comment earlier in this thread. That leaves the jeep J0758977 option (the "Crown" ones) or Simon auto.

Hi all,
Thank you for your help and advice particularly Lee Metters.
Based on his and others advice I've purchased one of the Crown ones from Germany. It arrived today and as I was on a day off work fitted it and went for a long test drive...seems absolutely fine. In fact like Lee, I've ordered a spare one as well.
I'm now just waiting for a stainless steel 90 degree pipe via that I bought via E Bay to replace the turbo cooler pipe that cracked which should be with me by tomorrow or Friday, then I'll be good to go for Prescott.

Thanks again, Barry.

Glad it’s coming together. I’ve got my alternator to repair too as the water from the bottle damaged it...parts in transit....
See you at prescott!
