Andy, Im confused. Do you want one piece wheels or split rim versions, as Image will only do split rim types, and If your going splitrim, it would be easier and cheaper to go with Meca.

I'll let you know mate, as i haven't finalised anything yet as I'm only the middle man and doing a favour for a friend and the French want new copies of old wheels at old wheels prices.........even though most of them have a fleet of cars in their garages, they're still deciding on which way to go.

Whoops... getting GBP and EUR mixed up again

Actually there isn't much in it, but I feel sure that the carrage would be far cheaper from meca parts.

My Maths isn't working then.
I worked it out as GBP 40 (eur 60) a set more expensive.
The most expensive ones are eur 310 (plus tax = say 370) x 4 = 1480 = GBP 1k.
I don't have a clue what delivery would cost, but I'm sure it would be cheaper from france.
When your over here do you drive a van, as you'll need one to transport 20 sets to you Fr place.

If you call Mecaparts or Treico they'll probably do you a deal on a bulk order.
Edgar at Trieco is very helpful when he can be.

Gotti wheels

Postby Hunter » Mon Nov 07, 2005 9:10 am

A wheel company here in NZ has recently started making 3 piece 6 spoke, Gotti style wheels for Alpines A110. Similar to the meca part ones.
About NZD450 (@180 quid each).

Looking for an Renault 5 gordini motor (in good condition) for my A110. Any one have one?

the original gotti wheels are Single cast wheels, all copies that are made currently are 2 or 3 piece, which I can source for a very reasonable price for a decent size order in the UK, the Meca Parts wheels are multi piece also and aren't cheap and I've been informed that they have sealing problems also  .

Image do them in the UK on their website as Type "RA"

http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/large_wheel_pages/ra.html

A company in France has started to produce the originals again under the Gotti name, so we're going to order from them as the guys who want the wheels want as close to original as possible for their cars, understandable. 8)

Hi Alpineandy

Name of the company is Arrow wheels. Well known company here.
Wheels may not be on the web site as they are quite new, The wheels got a testing on an Group 4 A110 in the recent targa NZ.. 5 days of tarmac rally on closed roads, ... so should be strong
They took the pattern off a set of old style Gotti 2 piece wheels.
Arrow can do any offset and quite a wide width.
The wheel centre has a hole... better for balancing but understand an Alpine badge is being made up.
I will ring and confirm the price and try and get a photo to post.
If you can't find a web site let me know I will have alook and come back to you tomorrow.
11.15 pm here, heading for some zzzz.

I have Saccos email. thanks.

cheers. Hunter
