It looks like Renault are thinking of closing down Alpine production, I hope not.

Can’t believe it just as they have made an impact in this sector of the market. It seems that Alpine is fated with bad luck, hopefully it might get taken over by someone who is cash rich, however selling cars that are something of a luxury in a downturn could be tricky.
Let’s hope things improve as the summer arrives.

In the articles I was surprised how few cars they were making in Jan/Feb...I thought the lead times were still long on new ones, and with all the rave reviews, you'd think that they would stay that way.
Lets hope the rumours are wrong.
If they are correct, what will that do for values? Up for scarcity or down because of support concerns (like Saab, but support turned out to be no problem). I'd like one, but they are too expensive for me right now.

The rumour is more accurately that they are planning to close the Dieppe plant, it does not mean that the A110 will cease to be produced somewhere else.

After all Dieppe is only making Alpines at the moment so consolidating elsewhere is a possibility.

I won't be parting with mine whatever happens.
Its all about the corners. :A610

The Dieppe factory has been reprieved until at least 2023 Renault has confirmed. 2023 is the planned review date of the A110 production line.

Didn't really read a definite 2023 date (but would like to) - just a reference when production of when the A110 ends.

Nice article just appeared on Road and Track
https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/a ... -s-review/
even hints that they could be considering a US launch.

I remember seeing a new (blue) A110 with the old-A110 style large rectangular white “Alpine-Renault” decals on the rear flanks.

Can anyone point me to the pic, or the source of the decals as I can’t find it again. I know it would split opinion, but I‘m not embarrassed about the Renault connection (quite the opposite) and would like this look for my PE.

Just Googled 'Alpine Renault stickers' and came up with these two. You might find more with some more searching. The second one can do them in different colours.

Thanks @johnb - that’s useful, but what I was really looking for was the pic of the new A110 with decals similar to these. Can’t seem to find it again.

OK, so this is a very trivial question, but having just bought Interior mats for my 2018 A110, I cannot work out where the third one goes.
Three in the pack, as intended, two for footwells and a third, rectangular, one (42×49cm), with usual press fasteners, ......Where on earth does that go?

I've been scratching my head over this. The only thing I can think of is the passenger footwell. If you have the optional foot rest you would need a rectangular carpet. If you don't then presumably the carpet will need to be shaped around the wheelarch.
